What is North Dakota’s greatest contribution to the rest of the country as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday?
It’s our friendly people!
With their strong work ethic, they will pour much effort into small-town celebrations to show their patriotism, all with a smile.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to use many campgrounds, therefore meeting people from many places.
Without even raising the question about someone’s home state, one already recognizes the North Dakotans.
So, keep on smiling, North Dakotans, and keep our legacy alive!

North Dakota supplies oil and crops that help feed and power America. Did you know North Dakota ranks third in oil production in the United States? Look around. Everywhere I go in western North Dakota, there is an oil site.
People from all over the United States come to North Dakota to work and support their families.
Also, North Dakota ranks first in many individual crop productions. Several types of crops leave North Dakota on trains to Chicago or Seattle, feeding America and families overseas.

I truly believe North Dakota's greatest contribution to our country is the people. We have friendly, caring, dependable, hard-working folks with wonderful ethics and lots of integrity.
We also supply almost all of the honey, many types of small grains and crops and lots of delicious beef. We can be so proud.
